We've been working our little Bunny tails off lately, but don't think we've been ignoring you =;-) Welcome to all our new church members! ~hop~ *noserub*

Bunnyness is spreading! Hopper from London just started a Church of the Cosmic Bunny group on Facebook, so spread the word and get your friends! If you're on MySpace (in addition or instead of), we've had a page there for a while thanks to DC. All welcome! Just add us as a friend.

In just a week it's our Creation Day celebration. Some fun ideas to commemorate this special day are veggie feasts, parties and peace meditation circles! H. Bunny and I haven't decided what we'll be doing for certain, but the wild Rabbits down the street are planning a chanting circle that sounds like a lot of fun =:-)

Important! Num Num Prophecy from Mexico!

Hello, all you Bunnies, Fuzzies and hoppers-by! I hope you're all having a great summer!

H. Bunny and I have just returned from a successful and very important mission to find the missing "Num Num" Bunny tribe in the jungles of southern Mexico. It was an exhausting trip, but well worth it!

The Num Num Rabbits were skiddish and very afraid of us at first, but we spent many hours sitting near the edge of their sacred ground level pyramid (a mound built by the Bunnies themselves!), trying to gain their trust. After a couple of weeks they finally approached us, noses twitching, sniffed and then saw our Fuzzy Ears! Yay! Hoppity-hop!

They led us deep into the dense undergrowth to their secret temple (and believe me, we've got the scratches and bruises to prove it), where they taught us about the mystical Night Sky Rabbit God (hmm, could it be the Cosmic Bunny?! =;-), at whose heart is a shimmering blue star. The Num Nums believe that the time is fast approaching for either a horrible cataclysm on Earth or a joyous shift into the 5th dimension, when the blue star will turn vibrant pink! They told us that it is up to the creatures of the Earth (or "Mama", in their language) to choose their destiny. Mama punishes the naughty ones, they said, but only if they've been bad. According to the Num Nums, humanity has been very bad indeed. They pleaded with us to raise more Bunny awareness in humanity and to teach others about Bunnyness. We tried to explain the internet to them, but we were lacking the words. We promised them that we would run a membership campaign for our church as soon as we returned home and that we would let all the Fuzzies know how crucial it is at this time in history to spread Bunnyness in all possible ways. The more people in tune with their Inner Bunny, the closer to joy we all come!

So, you heard it, Fuzzies! Get your friends and family involved! Let's write letters to advertisers and networks, begging for more Bunnies on TV (and lovingly thanking those who already grace the world with fuzziness in commercials and shows)! Wear Bunny t-shirts, Bunny-up your car if you can, put up Bunny calendars in your office, Bunny-up your website, use the word "Bunny" as often as possible each day, to whomever you speak! We have the chance to change the world, to usher in an era of hoppiness and peace and to move the Earth into a higher dimension! It's up to us! It's not tomorrow or next week, but NOW.

-Site Updates-
One of the other big things I have to share with you is that we have completed the transition from our old blogspot address to our new domain name. We are now WWW.BUNNYCHURCH.COM! Two new info sections have been added to the top of our page also, to help keep you easily informed of upcoming Bunny Holidays (which you can add to your own Google Calendar) and important updates in between editions of Latest News.

All of our banners/graphics have been updated to reflect this new web address. If you have previously copied code directly from our "Spread Bunnyness" page, the graphics will automatically update on your website the next time or two you refresh. If in the past you saved one of our graphics on your own server, you'll need to re-save or copy the new code to get the updated graphics. Also, some versions of our code had additional text below the graphic that said "Let's Get Fuzzy" and our URL. The text portion will not update, so you'll need to do that manually or just copy the new code and paste it over the old. Either way, though, you can always still reach the church with the old URL (bunnyreligion.blogspot.com).

In addition to the banners, any products that contained our web address in the Shop of the Cosmic Bunny have been changed to reflect our new identity =:-) We also added this beautiful new "Bunnytized" writing journal just yesterday.

-Easter, Celebrations & Bunny Ears-
I'm sure you're quite aware that Easter (Bunny Revelation Day) is already here next Sunday! The whole weekend will be a fantastic Bunny party, with the Full Moon and Spring Equinox falling on Good Friday. Friday night we'll be out in force with our Bunny ears on, howling at the moon, won't we?! AuoOoOoOooO! I can't wait!

And that reminds me to remind you; this time of year, just before Easter is your big chance for the whole year to buy Bunny ears to wear during Bunny celebrations the whole year round. Stock up while you can! Next Monday many stores will have already cleared out their "Easter" products and the ears will be gone!

During the Full Moon, Equinox or Easter celebrations, don't be shy! We will gladly accept photos and links to videos* of you and your fellow Bunny fans enjoying your Bunnyness =:-) Just submit them to bunnychurch(at)gmail.com or bunnyinfo(at)bunnychurch.com and we'll choose the best ones for a new post here on the site.

I hope everybunny had a good Bunny Gnove Day =:-) For this news update there are just a few things:

Since our last news post we've had a couple of site updates as well. The promised Chakra Bunny Meditation is completed and available, as well as the Lovebunny Meditation, for those seeking your Bunnymate. The Inner Bunny Meditation should be up within the next month, too.

Later this month is a very important weekend! This year we have the Bunny Full Moon Howling and Spring Equinox Celebration, plus Easter (Bunny Revelation Day) at nearly the same time! Friday night, the 21st of March through Sunday the 23rd is going to be one big Bunny party for us! We encourage everybunny to have fun mixing traditions, like Easter, the first day of Spring and the Full Moon in any way you'd like. It's a full weekend of Bunnyness! We will have lots of flowers, Bunny ears and colored eggs! The details are still being worked out and hopefully the weather will cooperate, but it should be great!

If you are having Bunny-themed celebrations this month, we would love to post a few photos of your festivities in a later news update to share with all the other Fuzzies =;-) Something to keep in mind for a couple of weeks. Of course we'll post a reminder a few days before the big weekend.

Our news this week is of both joy and sadness.

If you've been following our website lately, you will know that H. Bunny and I have been in Germany, where we joined a group of new German Fuzzies on Wednesday night for the Full Moon Howling and were able to post a short video of the event. Just two days later we learned that Schnuffel's hoppy "Kuschelsong" has jumped to the very top of the German Singles Chart, outselling all the big names this week! =:-)

We also have several new church members! Please welcome, everyone, our new Fuzzies:

There is one additional new member, Luvy from Toledo, Ohio, that I need to write separately about for a moment. I have some rather unfortunate news. Luvy, a Rabbit just over one year old, went in for a simple surgical procedure yesterday and has passed away. Our hearts go out to Luvy's family, who of course miss her dearly. We can only offer as comfort the knowledge that Luvy is being cuddled sweetly in the paws of the Cosmic Bunny, where she will be cared for and loved, as you have loved her here.

Bunny Song Reaches #1 in Germany!

"Kuchelsong" by Schnuffel (the cute little animated Bunny) has reached the top of the German singles chart! This Bunny has beaten out Timbaland, Lenny Kravitz, Gwen Stefani and Alicia Keys for the number one position this week! What an amazing display of Bunny Power! (Was it our Full Moon Howling that did it??? Or is Bunnyness just spreading like crazy??!)

Translated to English, the lyrics are: "You are my dearest treasure, My place is at your side, because I like to snuggle with you so much, You are my cuddle-sweetie. Cuddle, cuddle, cuddle, cuddle, You are my little cuddle-sweetie, You are my sweet little star, I like to cuddle you..."

P.S. In German, "Hase" is "Rabbit" and "Häschen" is "Bunny". Another term for Rabbits and Bunnies is "Kaninchen". To cuddle is often "knuddeln", but "kuscheln" is also to cuddle or snuggle.

Video: Full Moon Howling in Germany

H. Bunny and I are currently in Germany and had the wonderful opportunity to do a Full Moon Howling tonight with Cosmic Bunny followers here! Since it was a weeknight and many had to work in the morning, we decided to meet early at 8pm (20:00). We had our Bunny ears on, the moon was peeking through the foggy sky and the cold night air chilled our bunnynoses and it was great! The video below was shot with a digital photo camera, so we pointed a small flashlight around our ears or one wouldn't have been able to see much of anything. You can hear us all, though! I really hope this inspires others to really get out there and express yourself. Enjoy your Bunnyness! AhoOoOoOoOoooOo!

P.S. Tonight is the total lunar eclipse, but that doesn't occur in Germany until about 4 in the morning. Those of you in the US can do your howlings under the eclipse! Wow!

Well, it's been a busy few weeks! We have many new friends, new members and even our own little shop! =:-)

DC took us to MySpace in late January and we already have so many new Bunnyfriends! Many Rabbits, but many humans also. It's very exciting and encouraging to see how many beings connect with the knowingness of Bunny Religion! Whether they say "Great Bunny", "Bunny Creator", "Bunny God" or "Cosmic Bunny", they understand! Hippity-Hop! =:-) If you're a MySpace friend, DC sends out a bulletin for each Bunny Holiday so you won't miss it. We've also recently gained six new church members (Fuzzies)! Lastly, due to a couple of requests for t-shirts with the Bunnies and moon graphic (H.Bunny said, "That is so cool! I want that on a t-shirt!"), we looked around for ways to make it possible. Atealia was very gracious and recreated her beautiful art in the super high-resolution transparent format required to put it nicely on shirts and we signed up for a little shop with CafePress. (We call it "Shop of the Cosmic Bunny".) There aren't tons of options there, but it's a way to offer a few things for those who really want and can afford them. We should get our own personal "Bunnytized" t-shirts in the mail any day now. H. Bunny is getting a dark green one and I'll make him model it for the camera and post a picture in the next news update =;-)
